Do players have to pay anything?
No. The club pays, once, and members browse for free however many they are. They sign up with
email and password and see schedules, groups and standings of every published competition.
Can players sign themselves up?
Yes, if you want. Open sign-ups on the competition and share the link in the group chat: whoever
opens it registers, writes their partner's name and asks to join. The request comes to you, and
you decide who to approve. Nobody enters a tournament without your yes.
Which languages is it in?
The player apps for iPhone and Android are in English, Spanish and Italian, following the phone's
language. The club's web dashboard, where competitions are managed, is in Italian for now; the
payment pages are in your language.
Does it renew by itself?
No, and there is nothing to cancel. The payment is one-off: it covers the period you choose and
ends there. We don't store the card and we make no automatic charges. When you want to carry on
you come back to the site and pay again, choosing a different period if you like.
How do I pay, and how does invoicing work outside Italy?
By card, on the site: you choose the plan, you pay and the activation code appears on screen
straight away. Card details never pass through us, Stripe handles them on its own pages.
PadelBattle is sold by PYNLab S.r.l., an Italian company: EU businesses with a VAT number valid in
VIES are invoiced without VAT under reverse charge, and outside the EU no Italian VAT applies.
Do we have to install an app?
There are apps for iPhone and Android, but they aren't required: PadelBattle works in the browser
too, on phones and on computers. Members can check schedules and standings right away and download
the app whenever it suits them.
What happens when the period runs out?
The club keeps seeing everything: competitions, schedules, results, standings. It can no longer
change them until a new period is paid, and nothing is deleted because of the expiry. Once the
payment is recorded, management picks up where it left off.
Who owns our members' data?
The club does. The player names and the results you enter concern people who have a relationship
with you: for that processing the club is the controller, and PadelBattle is its processor under
article 28 of the GDPR. The terms are written in the
terms of service, and you can export everything at any time.
Can we try it before deciding?
Yes, fifteen days, free and without a card. You activate the club from the trial page and run a
real competition in it. Nothing is charged at the end: if it doesn't convince you, you let it
lapse, and what you created stays where it is.
Do we need someone technical to run it?
No. If you can use a group chat you can use PadelBattle: you enter the pairs, press two buttons
and type the scores. We do the setup together.
